Responsibilities
Guest Reception:
Greet and assist visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanuor, ensuring a positive first impression of the museum.Information Provider:
Provide accurate information about exhibits, programs, and events, both in person and over the phone.Administrative Support:
Manage the reception area, including answering phones, and handling inquiries efficiently.Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to support museum events and activities, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.Facility Management:
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and public spaces.Requirements
Experience:
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role with supervisory or team lead experience preferredCommunication Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in multiple languages is a strong asset.Customer Service Orientation:
Strong commitment to providing excellent service to children and families.Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a busy environment.Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with office equipment and software; experience with ticketing systems and POS is a plus.Flexibility:
