Greet residents, visitors, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner.
Assist with resident check-in/check-out, room allocation, and key issuance.
Provide information about camp rules, schedules, and available facilities.
Direct visitors to the appropriate departments or staff as needed.
Record-Keeping & Administration:
Maintain accurate daily records of resident movements, visitor logs, and ID/passport copies.
Update room occupancy lists and submit daily reports to the Reception Supervisor.
Assist with data entry, filing, and organizing reception documentation.
Facility & Operations Support:
Report maintenance issues, housekeeping needs, or resident concerns to the Reception Supervisor.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure timely service requests.
Help monitor common areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to camp regulations.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce camp entry/exit policies and ensure visitor passes are issued and returned properly.
Monitor resident compliance with camp rules, including visitor restrictions, noise control, and safety protocols.
Assist during emergencies by guiding residents, reporting incidents, and following safety procedures.
Customer Service:
Address resident inquiries politely and professionally, escalating unresolved issues to the Reception Supervisor.
Provide translation or language support if required (depending on skills).
Maintain a professional image as the first point of contact for all visitors and residents in the camp.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Prior experience in reception, customer service, or administrative roles. Experience in staff accommodation or labour camps is preferred.
Skills:
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with camp management systems is an advantage.
Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi, Arabic, or other languages is a plus).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of basic safety and emergency response procedures is preferred.
Work Environment:
The role is performed in a labour camp or staff accommodation setting, requiring the Reception Attendant to maintain a welcoming, organized, and safe reception environment.
The position requires flexibility for working shifts, weekends, and public holidays, depending on the operational needs of the camp.
