As a Receiving & Storekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient management of inventory, deliveries, and storage within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the receiving, storing, and issuance of supplies while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with inventory control procedures.

Key responsibilities:
  • Comply with the implemented policies and procedures for the receiving process.
  • Keep records in accordance with municipality and local authority requirements.
  • Inform the purchasing manager and the Executive Chef about rejected deliveries, shortages, and non-supply of products for necessary actions.
  • Ensure that incoming supplies meet the quality, quantity, price, and shelf-life specified in the purchase orders.
  • Safely receive and promptly deliver products on behalf of the hotel to the respective departments or stores.
  • Document returned hotel items sent for repairs or refilling, and follow up on their return.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management system. Organize and store items in designated areas to facilitate easy access and efficient utilization of space
  • Manage the cleanliness of the storage area. Maintain the par stock and follow FIFO method.
  • Arrange the stock as per internal store requests
  • 10.Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and identify obsolete or damaged items for disposal or replacement. Uphold quality standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Coordinate with various departments to fulfill their inventory needs and assist in optimizing inventory levels based on demand
  • Provide all necessary supporting documents to update the accounts payable at the end of each day.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation related to supplies on order, both physically and in the inventory system.
  • Assist the Cost Controller in conducting month-end inventories and reconciliations.
  • Support the Cost Controller in the administration of the Inventory system.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Cost Controller.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements related to receiving and storing materials.
