We are seeking an organized and efficient Receiving Officer to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of incoming shipments.

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
• Verify and document received items against purchase orders and packing slips
• Enter data into inventory management systems and maintain accurate records
• Organize and store received items in designated areas of the warehouse
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of materials
• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, when necessary
• Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciliations
• Report discrepancies or issues to management promptly
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in logistics or warehouse operations
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Strong data entry and record-keeping skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
• Familiarity with supply chain operations
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly
• Forklift certification preferred
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or evenings
