Job Purpose
- To assist the Receiving Supervisor in all aspects of distribution support for the Department Store
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist the Receiving Supervisor in all the daily activities relating to receiving and distribution of goods
- Fill in the documentation as agreed and maintain the daily register, ensuring accuracy and up to date information
- Prepare the delivery schedule and ensure that the acknowledgement is made
- Prepare barcodes and distribute goods as per the requirements of each department / floor
- Provide assistance to the store staff with regards to any movement of fixed assets inside the store
- Scan out the products to different branches as advised by the Receiving Supervisor
- Maintain the standards of the loading bay with the 5 S Strategy
- Order POS from the warehouse, as and when required
Education/Certification and Continued Education
- High School qualification
- 2 - 3 years experience in a relevant field
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- Can work efficiently under pressure
- Computer Literate
