Ramada Encore Muscat is now seeking a Receiving Clerk to join our team

Job Summary

The role holder will contribute to the performance of the hotel by facilitating to manage the goods and deliveries moving in and out of the hotel and will ensure that these deliveries reach the appropriate destinations and logged according to company purchasing and procurement standards. It is not the intent of this to cover all aspects of the position but to highlight the most important areas of responsibility.

Education & Experience

A minimum of 1/2 years in a similar role in same role in 4/5 star hotel

knowledge of relevant entry data software

Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards, rules and regulations

General Requirements

To ensure that all goods coming into the hotel are properly ordered and received with the proper and complete documentation and in an acceptable condition.

To ensure that proper receiving procedures are follows.

To prepare related reports.

To discharge the duties in an effective and efficient manner.

To ensure that delivery within the morning concerning most of the supplies and at the right locations.

To maintain the receiving area clear and in perfect sanitary condition.

To keep the receiving office closed at any times and be sure all the security procedures are accurate and followed.

Upon delivery of goods at the receiving area, to check that the relevant purchase order or purchase request has been well issued.

Before accepting any goods, to check it in terms of quantity and quality according to the requirements mentioned in the relevant purchase order or request and request the invoice from the supplier.
