Job Summary
IIQAF is a leading international organization dedicated to promoting and upholding standards of excellence in quality assurance and finance. We are currently seeking a proficient Receiving Clerk to join our team and support the efficient operation of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect all incoming shipments from suppliers, verifying quantity and quality of products
Ensure accuracy of all incoming deliveries by cross-checking with purchase orders and packing lists
Ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming shipments into the organization's inventory system
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies in shipments
Label and tag received items and ensure proper storage in designated locations
Coordinate with the shipping department to schedule outgoing shipments
Maintain and update records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or damages to the appropriate departments
Assist with periodic physical inventory counts to ensure accurate inventory records
Comply with all organizational policies and procedures relating to receiving and inventory management
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education in supply chain or logistics is preferred
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process and record information
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with inventory management systems
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with internal departments and external suppliers
Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in processes and procedures
Familiarity with quality assurance and finance principles is an asset
