The Role

\xc2\xa7 Knowledge about Municipality Regulation on Health, Hygiene and Safety.

\xc2\xa7 Basic knowledge of work related automated inventory management and reporting systems.

\xc2\xa7 Written and verbal communication skills.

\xc2\xa7 Organised and capable of managing more than one tasks at a time.

\xc2\xa7 Working knowledge of modern office methods, procedures, and equipment.

\xc2\xa7 Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.

\xc2\xa7 Maintain courteous and friendly atmosphere and good working relationships with all colleagues.

\xc2\xa7 Act as a department team member and involve in projecting a good personal, department and company image.

\xc2\xa7 Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.

\xc2\xa7 Complete understanding of the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s employee handbook and adhere to the regulations contained therein.

\xc2\xa7 Complete understanding of the hotel\xe2\x80\x99s policies & procedures and standard operating procedures and polices relating to fire, safety and health.

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities

Planning & Organizing: * Thinks ahead, developing contingency plans where necessary.
  • Manages time and resources effectively.
  • Sets and strives to achieve high personal performance standards.
  • Plans, organizes and uses a systematic approach to getting things done.
  • Priorities actions and manages tasks through to completion.
Operations: * Handle all queries from internal & external customers.
  • Ensure highest guest satisfaction, handle guest queries as priority one.
  • Liaise with Company Auditors.
  • Communicates openly and clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Develops positive working relationships at all levels.
Administration: * Maintain all store rooms tidy, well organized, clean and ensure that require temperature in being maintained all the time in the store rooms.
  • Receive goods from Receiving Clerk and stack it as per FIFO system.
  • Ensure that stocks are maintained as per the par levels, generate re-order list and forward it to Inventory Supervisor.
  • Issue stock as per the requisition request received from the departments.
  • Adhere to store issue timings and do not issue any item without requisition.
  • Conduct cycle inventory to ensure that month end inventory balances without difficulties.
  • Post daily requisitions prior to the end of the day
  • Assist Inventory Supervisor to conduct monthly stores inventories.
Generic Aspects on Hygiene / Personal Safety / Environment/Confidentiality:

\xc2\xa7 Ensure proper care of all equipment and furniture entrusted for Heartists use.

\xc2\xa7 Be well-familiar with the hotel\'s policies and procedures, well-acquainted with the physical layout of the hotel and its premises and knowledgeable of the hotel\'s emergency procedures in regard to fire, medical, bomb threat, black-out and evacuation.

\xc2\xa7 Knows the safety regulations and ensures their application & ensures the safety of people and property in the hotel.

\xc2\xa7 Respects and ensures respect of the hotel\'s commitments to the "Environment Charter" of Planet 21 program (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste etc).

\xc2\xa7 Understands and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Heartists Handbook and the Hotel\xe2\x80\x99s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.

\xc2\xa7 Ensure that confidential records and other confidential information are properly safeguarded and are not removed from the office.

\xc2\xa7 Does not disclose any financial information or any other information of the Accor Hotels.
