Role Summary
The Receiver - Accor Dubai will be responsible for managing daily receiving operations, ensuring goods are delivered in line with purchase orders and hotel standards. Based at One Central Dubai, this position plays a vital role in maintaining accuracy, hygiene, and compliance in the supply chain while supporting hotel operations.
Core Duties

• Print purchase orders and prepare for daily expected deliveries
• Receive and verify food, beverage, and general goods against approved purchase documents
• Inspect deliveries for quality, quantity, pricing, expiry dates, and country of origin
• Maintain hygiene standards in the receiving bay and surrounding areas as per Dubai Municipality and hotel guidelines
• Check supplier vehicles for proper temperatures and maintain monitoring records
• Track and document high-risk product traceability such as seafood, poultry, and meat
• Record and report rejected items, certificates, short deliveries, and discrepancies
• Keep expiry records updated and escalate short-dated items to the Store Manager
• Coordinate with departments for collection of goods and obtain signatures on invoices
• Prepare rejection and short delivery reports and follow up with supply chain and logistics teams
• Maintain invoice logs, receiving reports, and batch records for accounts and cost control
• Ensure plastic crates are properly cleaned and report issues to stewarding
• Support management with additional tasks and maintain compliance with hotel policies on fire, health, and safety

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Finance & Accounting or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience as a Receiver in hospitality or a similar industry
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with knowledge of HACCP, hygiene, and quality control practices
• Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
