Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Coordination:
Overseeing on-site activities, coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders, and resolving site-level issues.Technical Oversight:
Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings (SLDs, cable schedules, etc.), ensuring adherence to specifications, and conducting inspections.Quality and Safety:
Enforcing safety standards, conducting quality checks, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.Testing and Commissioning:
Overseeing the testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, such as transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.Reporting and Documentation:
Preparing regular progress reports, documenting site activities, and managing non-conformances.Key Skills and Experience:
Electrical Engineering Degree:
A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is typically required.Substation Experience:
Significant experience (often 10+ years) in high-voltage substation projects, including construction, testing, and commissioning.Knowledge of Standards:
In-depth knowledge of relevant standards (IEC, IS, etc.) and industry best practices.Communication and Leadership:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.UAE Experience:
Experience working on projects in the UAE, particularly with entities like TRANSCO, is preferred.Job Type: Full-time
