Civil Engineer - Over Head Line (OHL)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer specializing in Overhead Line (OHL) projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, planning, execution, and supervision of civil works associated with overhead transmission and distribution lines.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review civil designs, drawings, and BOQs for OHL projects. Conduct site surveys, route alignment, and soil investigations for OHL foundations and structures. Supervise and coordinate construction activities, including foundation works, tower erection, and stringing. Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates. Identify and resolve technical issues at site. Ensure timely completion of projects within budget. Support tendering activities by providing technical inputs and cost estimates.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent). 8+ years of relevant experience in OHL/civil infrastructure projects. Good understanding of OHL structures, foundations, and construction techniques. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering software. Strong organizational and communication skills. Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.

Preferred:

Experience working with utility companies or EPC contractors. Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (IS, IEC, etc.). Postgraduate qualification or certification in Power Transmission/Distribution is an advantage.
