Job Purpose & Responsibilities R&D Engineer mission will be to coordinate the administrative and technical activities of the center under the supervision of the director of the center. It will have two main missions:

• The implementation and management of administrative activities related to the creation of the center creation of the center (communication, distribution, meetings, appointments, website...) and budget monitoring.

Minimum Qualification and Education a) Academic Essential: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree b) Professional/Vocational Essential: Deep knowledge in the field of instrumentation and climate issues. Desirable: Knowledge in physical processes (relations water/solid/ gas). Required Knowledge and Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) and data bases management is a must.
• Ability to handle equipment dedicated to climate measurements on local scale (solar reflectometer, albedo meter\xe2\x80\xa6) and well capacities for sensors selection and implementation,
• Ability to write reports (testing, analysis, technical) and concept notes and synthesis.
• Have the abilities to apply mathematical models especially those dedicated to integrate uncertainties abd decision making tools.
• Ability to learn the use of modeling software applied to climate issues following the various scales
• Familiar with the innovation processes and the TRLs and capacities to absorb technological development
• Having the abilities and motivation to support scientific publications in relations with climate issues.
• Having the abilities to design and execute experiences and interpretation of results
• Mastery of remote communication and webinar organization tools.
• Familiarity with GIS tools and if possible with earth observations mechanisms (drones, satellites\xe2\x80\xa6)
• Must possess good communication, organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Work Experience Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in engineering or innovation or research fields of climate change (Urban Heat Island) or energy. Language proficiency required Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written are mandatory. Competencies
