Job Description
COREcruitment are currently partnering a global FMCG company, based in Dubai, who are looking for an R&D Consultant to join their business.
About the role:
The role will report directly into the CEO and you will ultimately be responsible for further developing both new and existing confectionary lines, from concept all the way through to launch stage (idea generation, concept development/testing, protype development etc).
You will be expected to be the focal point between both technical and commercial personnel \xe2\x80\x93 as a large portion of your role will be to liaise with the teams within production, marketing and quality assurance departments to ensure that all produce meets their exemplary quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: * Responsible for developing new and improving existing products from concept stage to launch stage.
- Completion of new products with specific timelines and execute all R&D activities connected to particular project.
- Responsible for process development & optimization.
- Pre-launch storage studies and shelf life studies of new product.
- Search new suppliers to source ingredients of RM & PM that complement our existing product range.
- RM & PM specification and selection & recommendation of packaging material.
- To coordinate with manufacturing for production and firming up process methodology and SOP\xe2\x80\x99s and ensure smooth scale up from lab to shop floor production.
- Liaising between production, marketing and quality assurance department to produce a desired product at an acceptable quality standard.
- Documentation and online modification of recipes, routing and formulas in ORACLE.
- Maintenance of COA and specification sheets of new ingredients in initial stages.
