Challenging and exciting opportunities to be part of R&D department as the main responsible for developing or domesticating resin and cementitious products and all related activities and coordination concerning the mentioned products.

Job Requirements

Prime Objective:

• To locally develop or domesticate resin and cementitious products fast into market and according to company Product Creation Process (PCP) and procedures. Specific resin materials include epoxy primer, epoxy flooring, epoxy coatings, epoxy screeds, epoxy adhesive, segmental bridge adhesive, epoxy grouts, epoxy cement mortars and polyurethane coatings. Cementitious products include engineered grouts and mortars, waterproofing mortars, tile adhesives and tile grouts, ETICs materials, cementitious self- levelling, and floor screeds.
• Evaluation of alternative raw materials and product cost optimization without changes in properties
• Prepares small samples for business units for products not yet released for production.
• Prepares Specification Sheet and Safety Data Sheets of developed products for hand over to QC and production.

Responsibilities:

• Local product development/adaptation and general laboratory works.
• Implement working procedures according to PCP & ISO standards.
• Execution of development projects according to local expert team minutes, PCP & compliance with "Company Ethic Rules".
• Prepare and record all development projects in Company Innovation Portal according to PCP procedures.
• Adaptation, improvement and upgrading of product formulations for local market.
• Prepares a copy of Specification Sheets, Safety Data Sheets, and other related documentation whenever necessary.
• Build up the laboratory reference Library on raw materials, finished products and competitor products.
• Ensure close information exchange with other laboratory staff and production staff.
• Check and tests new raw materials for evaluation according to Company Test Methods and Specifications.
• Evaluate and report about new raw materials and new packaging materials.
• Keep accurate records and maintain good laboratory notebook practice.
• Prepare and submit all information, reports, and records as required.
• Maintain Company information with appropriate secrecy (internally and externally, adhering to policies regarding confidential information and strictly confidential information).
• Familiarize and train on Quality Control activities in all Technologies and to be a back-up QC when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with the company's Quality Integrated Management and Environmental Health & Safety Management Systems. Implement good safety practices.
• To undertake any additional responsibilities or duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor or Manager commensurate within the position.
