REQUIREMENT -

Minimum of 4-5 years of experience with the similar activities

Education: Diploma/bachelor's degree in chemistry

Technical: Formulation development, cosmetic chemistry, analytical testing, project management, and regulatory compliance.

Soft skills: Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, creativity, communication, and teamwork abilities. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, formulation principles, and the cosmetic industry's regulatory landscape.

JOB DESCRIPTION -

1. Drive innovation, develop new product formulation/concepts, and improve existing products based on market trends and technical feasibility.

2. Develop, monitor, and manage R&D project budgets, conduct cost analysis, identify cost-saving measures, perform cost forecasting, and collaborate with finance on cost objectives and reporting.

3. Manage laboratory schedules, workflows, and resource allocation to meet targets.

4. Lead and mentor the Laboratory Team, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.

5. Act as a liaison between R&D and production, ensuring smooth transition of new products and providing technical support for batch manufacturing processes.

6. Ensure products meet high standards, industry regulations, and internal quality benchmarks.

7. Work closely with Sales and Quality departments to align R&D with business objectives.

8. Investigate and resolve laboratory issues, implementing improved technologies, and ensuring operational excellence.

9. Implement Lean/Six Sigma methodologies (Kaizen) to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
