Overview
Our client is looking for the Officer Raw Materials to manage all activities related to the receipt, inspection, sampling, and storage of raw materials. This role ensures that materials meet quality and regulatory requirements before being released for production, maintaining traceability and data integrity throughout the supply-chain process. will manage all activities related to the receipt, inspection, sampling, and storage of raw materials. Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and inspect incoming raw-material shipments against purchase orders and GMP specifications.
  • Perform identity checks, sampling, and documentation of raw materials per SOPs and compendial standards.
  • Coordinate with QC for sample submission, track testing status, and review Certificates of Analysis (Coas).
  • Enter goods-receipt and batch-lot information into the ERP system; ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Manage quarantine, approved, and rejectedxe2x80x90material segregation; initiate deviation reports as needed.
  • Monitor stock levels, trigger replenishment requests, and rotate stock to minimize expiry risk.
  • Maintain clean, organized storage areas with proper labeling, temperature, and humidity controls.
  • Generate and maintain audit-ready documentation: batch records, sampling logs, and inspection reports.
  • Participate in supplier audits and materialxe2x80x90return processes in collaboration with Procurement and QA.
  • Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and discrepancy investigations.
  • Adhere strictly to cGMP, GDP, and safety guidelines in all RM activities.
Must Have:
  • Bachelors degree in pharmacy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
  • 02 years experience in raw-materials handling or QA/QC support within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of compendial raw-material testing and sampling procedures.
  • Familiarity with GMP/GDP requirements, CoA review, and ERP inventory transactions.
  • Basic understanding of chemical and physical inspection techniques.
  • Proficient in documentation practices and dataxe2x80x90integrity principles.
