Job Description

RAMS Engineer - MENA Region EWI are supporting a Leading international engineering firm who are requiring a RAMS Engineer for rail projects in the Middle East Region Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure RAMS principles are integrated into the project\'s design, implementation, and operation phases.
Develop and implement robust RAMS strategies, plans, and methodologies that adhere to industry standards and project requirements.
Conduct thorough reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety assessments, identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation measures.
Participate in the analysis of safety hazards, operational risks, and reliability data to enhance system performance and safety.
Monitor project progress, identifying any RAMS-related issues and offering timely solutions to maintain project objectives.
Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation on RAMS activities, findings, and recommendations, contributing to project transparency and compliance.
Collaborate with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to ensure alignment with safety regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
5-7 years of proven experience in RAMS engineering, ideally within the MENA region\'s rail industry.
Proficiency in RAMS analysis tools and methodologies.
Strong understanding of international RAMS standards and regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues.
Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Collaborative mindset to work seamlessly within cross-functional teams.
Regional rail industry experience is highly desirable.
