About The Role Our position of R&D Product Expert Specialist, based in Casablanca, Morocco. R&D Product Expert Specialist, is responsible for executing the Product Expert function in-scope under the guidance of the R&D Product Expert Manager/Lead. The R&D Product Expert Specialist strives for product excellence and drives continuous improvement for our products and services. S/he that requests are being integrated into laboratory operations. This position holder consolidates and shares in-depth knowledge within R&D. The R&D Product Expert Specialist gets guidance and support from the R&D Product Expert Manager/Lead on complex activities, ad hoc requests, and key issues in the execution of his/her duties.

Key Responsibilities Include Acting as the heart of the R&D department by consolidating and sharing in depth product knowledge, gained internally or through customer interaction, with all of R&D and our customers. Leading technical product development and/or packaging proactively and ensure best in class product/packaging solutions as well as world-class product ranges. Ensuring excellence in execution by ensuring a timely delivery and outstanding speed to market in collaboration with Customer R&D. Striving for product excellence, packaging & raw material knowledge. Liaising with other functional and operational area managers such as QA, sourcing and/or OSCO to understand their current and future product testing needs. Interacting closely with Global R&D to ensure that Product Experts apply pushed innovation correctly. Developing plans, cost estimates and schedules for integrating the aforementioned needs into laboratory operations. Defining requirements and specifications for new products, new raw materials and new packaging and evaluating all aspects going into a new product launch. Checking and confirming feasibility of transfers by acting as the interface between the different functions involved. Interacting closely with R&D Technical Lifecycle Management to manage the product portfolio effectively and efficiently. Acting as a sparring partner to Customer R&D by challenging customer requests. Ensuring knowledge transfer beyond location and plant by leveraging the global network or R&D Product Experts. Leading local product development platforms. Acting as internal knowledge champion and provide specific product, packaging and raw materials training. Maintaining a good knowledge of regulatory requirements for your area of expertise.

About You Master Degree in Science/Engineering or similar, preferably in a food science discipline Having 2-3 years of experience in R&D Having experience in Project Management Proven track record in continuous improvement management Good knowledge of working tools (MS Office, SAP,...) Fluent Business English both written and oral
