/ Position: Ramp Agent
/ Location: Sharjah, UAE
/ Salary: Commensurate with experience
/ Reporting To: Ramp Supervisor
/ The Role:
Gama Aviation has made a significant investment, and we are set to open a new VVIP terminal facility at Sharjah International Airport in Q3 2025 aiming to enhance our guest experiences, and we are seeking an experienced Ramp Agent to help support our growth.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in an FBO Operations / Ramp environment handling a variety of business jet aircraft types, have confidence in operating different GSE equipment, possess good awareness of airside safety rules, be able to communicate with airport suppliers and stakeholders whilst ensuring a seamless service to crew, VIPs, and guests.
Reporting to the Ramp Supervisor, you will be required to carry out daily tasks as assigned and work closely with the FBO Operations and Ramp teams to ensure all airside services are delivered efficiently and safely for flight arrivals and departures.
/ Main Responsibilities:

To conduct pushback/tow operations as per FBO Procedures.
To operate the following equipment - Aircraft lavatory service truck, Aircraft potable water truck, Conveyor Belt, Steps, GPU.
Daily FOD checks.
To conduct into-plane fuelling of aircraft, driving of fuel trucks, topping up bowsers with fuel quantities, recording daily equipment and fuel quality checks, defect reporting and emergency response whilst adhering to all required policies and procedures.
Follow daily checklists and report any findings to Supervisor.
Check all Ground Support Equipment daily and ensure any issues are reported.
Ensure the aircraft remains clear of any obstructions or equipment when aircraft is moving or stationary as per FBO procedures.
Follow safety rules as per FBO and Airport procedures.
Check aircraft doors to avoid any damage when loading and offloading.
Post flight - Informing FBO Coordinator of the ground services conducted to ensure accurate billing to clients.
Provide wing walking, chocking and cones to aircraft.
Assist customers with their baggage from the cars to the aircraft.
Tag / weigh baggage as required by the operator.
Load baggage onto the aircraft or assist the crew with loading and offloading.
Providing assistance in technical workshops
Work closely with the Ramp Supervisor to ensure the safety of the aircraft is maintained.
Drive company vehicles airside - taking crew / passengers to the aircraft / FBO lounge

/ Minimum Requirements

Verbal and written English is essential
Safety conscious
Valid UAE driver's licence
Able to follows Company procedure
Punctual and flexible for roster requirements
Take pride in personal appearance
Friendly and personable
Proactive approach to customer needs
Must be able to successfully pass the additional internal screening interview for the into-plane fuel operator training course
