Our client is one of the top-notch busiest private hospitals in Dubai, UAE is looking for an analytical consultant radiologist to join their team of medical professionals. As a consultant radiologist, you will use your skills and various medical imaging techniques to produce visual representations of specific areas of the human body in order to diagnose medical problems and monitor treatment. To be successful HOD you should oversee a diagnostic imaging department setting. You direct technicians and staff, assess staffing requirements, coordinate funding and procurement of new equipment, resolve administrative problems, and coordinate quality assurance activities.

DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITES

• Evaluating patients’ medical histories to ensure the various medical imaging procedures will not harm them.
• Suggesting alternative medical imaging techniques, when necessary.
• Informing patients about the medical imaging process.
• Using devices such as computer tomography (CT) scanners and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines.
• Performing or directing radiology staff to carry out image-guided, diagnostic procedures.
• Working with radiology lab technicians to perfect image quality.
• Interpreting the results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine diagnoses.
• Communicating and discussing results and diagnoses with physicians.
• Compiling written reports of results and diagnoses.
• Following medical protocols for resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other emergency situations, when necessary.

WORKING CONDITION

• Working Hours: 48 Hours / Week
• Working Days: 6 Days / Week
• Shifts: Straight Shifts, Morning AND Afternoon
• Contract Period 1 Year Renewable
• Family Contract: Candidate, Wife or Husband and 2 Kids
• On Call Duties: Divided per the number of consultants

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Primary Medical Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD); Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS); Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or Equivalent from recognized by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
• Training/Residency: completion of residency training in Radiology
• Leadership Experience: Not less than 3 years of recent experience and success track record in leading the Radiology Department in an accredited hospital.
• License: DHA Licensed or DHA Eligibility Letter as Consultant

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Languages: English is a must
• Age not to exceed 55 years old

SALARY AND BENEFITS

SALARY

• Gross Monthly Salary: AED 65,000 – 75,000 (Varies Based on Qualifications, Years of Experience and Clinical Privileges) Gross Salary is inclusive basic salary, housing and transportation.
