Radiographer
Job Title: Radiographer / Medical Imaging Technologist
Reports To: Chief Radiographer / Clinic Manager
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified Radiographer to operate our imaging equipment, such as X-ray and potentially DEXA or ultrasound machines, to produce high-quality diagnostic images. The role is critical in assisting physicians with accurate diagnoses while ensuring patient safety through strict adherence to radiation protection guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:

• Imaging Procedures: Perform diagnostic imaging examinations as requested by physicians, primarily X-rays.
• Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and yourself. Use protective equipment like lead aprons and shields.
• Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, performing quality control checks and reporting any malfunctions.
• Image Quality & Analysis: Ensure images are of high diagnostic quality and correctly labeled before submitting them to the radiologist or physician for interpretation.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records related to imaging procedures and radiation exposure.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiography/Medical Imaging.
• A valid and transferable MOH (Ministry of Health) license for the UAE.
• Proven experience operating X-ray equipment in a clinical setting.
• In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, radiology techniques, and radiation safety.
• Attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
