RAC - Restaurant Assistant Coach
Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Coach (RAC) - Front of House
Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Unit Manager
Overall Purpose:
To lead the front-of-house (FOH) operations, including the dining area, cashier stations, and drive-thru (if applicable). The RAC focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, maximizing sales, and managing the FOH team to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Experience Management: Ensure exceptional service standards are met. Handle guest complaints effectively, seek feedback, and implement actions to improve guest satisfaction.
• FOH Team Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and motivate Team Members in FOH. Conduct shift briefings, delegate tasks, and provide real-time coaching on service and sales techniques.
• Sales & Operational Efficiency: Manage the flow of service to minimize wait times. Oversee cash management, including safe counts, drawers, and deposits. Drive promotions and upselling to achieve sales targets.
• Cleanliness & Ambiance: Ensure the dining area, restrooms, and exterior premises are impeccably clean, well-stocked, and inviting at all times.
• Administration: Assist with inventory ordering for FOH supplies, manage labor hours during shifts, and complete required shift reports.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Front-of-house guest satisfaction metrics.
• Speed of service (e.g., counter service time, drive-thru timer).
• FOH labor cost control and sales target achievement.
• Cleanliness audit scores for guest-facing areas.
