Work Experience

1) Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field

2) 5 to 8 years of experience in research and development specifically within the Pigment Manufacturing industry

3) In-depth knowledge of pigment chemistry, formulation, and manufacturing processes

4) Strong understanding of colour science, colour matching, and colour application technologies

5) Proficiency in analytical techniques and instrumentation used in pigment analysis and characterization

6) Experience in statistical analysis and experimental design

7) Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical challenges related to pigment manufacturing and application

8) Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to pigments

Job Profile

1) Conduct research and development activities to enhance existing pigment formulations and develop new pigment products

2) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables

3) Design and execute experiments to optimise pigment manufacturing processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality improvement

4) Analyse and interpret experimental data using statistical methods and present findings to management and stakeholders

5) Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to pigments and colourants

6) Identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement based on market demand and customer feedback

7) Work closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to address technical queries and provide technical support

8) Coordinate with external laboratories for testing and analysis of pigments and related materials

9) Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all R&D activities

10) Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate research findings and project updates.
