R and D Manager / Director : FMCG, UAE Location: United Arab Emirates Salary Package: Salary: AED 50:70k pm dependent upon experience plus standard benefits like medical, flights etc. Such an exciting opportunity for this well:established but progressive company who are now looking for a R and D Manager / Director What does the role involve? * Responsible for developing new and improving existing products from concept stage to launch stage. * Completion of new products with specific timelines and execute all R and D activities connected to particular project. * Responsible for process development and optimization. * Pre:launch storage studies and shelf life studies of new product. * Search new suppliers to source ingredients of RM and PM that complement our existing product range. * RM and PM specification and selection and recommendation of packaging material. * To coordinate with manufacturing for production and firming up process methodology and SOPs and ensure smooth scale up from lab to shop floor production. * Liaising between production, marketing and quality assurance department to produce a desired product at an acceptable quality standard. * Documentation and online modification of recipes, routing and formulas in ORACLE. * Maintenance of COA and specification sheets of new ingredients in initial stages. We are looking for someone currently holding a similar job title and working for a very strong and relevant FMCG brand, Gulf experience not required but must be willing to relocate.
