We are a leading contracting company in Qatar seeking highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our dynamic team working on major

GOVERNMENT PROJECTS IN QATAR

. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical national infrastructure initiatives.

We are looking to fill positions at both

Mid-Level

and

Senior-Level

.

& Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of pre and post-contract duties, including:

Cost Estimation & Budgeting:

Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for Kahramaa projects.

Contract Management:

Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with Kahramaa's specific terms and conditions.

Variation Orders:

Identify, prepare, negotiate, and agree on variation orders (VOs) in line with project requirements.

Payment Applications:

Prepare and submit interim payment applications (IPCs) to the client and process subcontractor payments.

Cost Control:

Monitor project costs against budgets, providing regular financial reports and forecasts.

Value Engineering:

Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising on quality or project specifications.

Final Account:

Prepare and negotiate the final account settlement from project commencement to completion.

Reporting:

Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal project teams to provide timely and accurate financial reporting.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

For Mid-Level Quantity Surveyor:

5-8 years

of overall experience in quantity surveying/cost consulting.

Minimum 2-3 years

of direct experience working on

Kahramaa (KAHRAMAA) infrastructure projects

(water networks, electricity substations, TSE networks, etc.) is

MANDATORY

. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiar with cost management software. Strong understanding of construction contracts and FIDIC principles.

For Senior-Level Quantity Surveyor:

10+ years

of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor.

Minimum 5 years

of direct experience working on

Kahramaa (KAHRAMAA) projects

, with a proven track record of managing project finances from inception to final account. Must have experience leading a team and managing high-value contracts. Exceptional negotiation and client-facing skills. In-depth knowledge of Kahramaa's procedures, standards, and contractual requirements.

Key Requirements for All Candidates:

Must be locally available in Qatar

with a valid Qatar ID (QID) and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current sponsor. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
