Job Description

Position: Fit-out & Construction Quantity Surveyor/ Estimator

ManagerResponsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in all matters related to estimating and bid pricing. Prepare technical submittals and supporting documents for tender requests. Obtain and evaluate quotations from material suppliers and subcontractors. Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to collect and verify quotes. Conduct site inspections for proposed projects to ensure accurate estimation. Compile comprehensive documentation to support tender submissions and cost estimates. Prepare detailed

Bills of Quantities (BOQ)

for new tenders. Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Maintain accurate estimation and cost records for future reference and tender evaluations. Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and quality deliverables. Analyze drawings, prepare BOQs with full specifications, and ensure all project elements are accounted for. Coordinate with clients for the review and approval of additional works and variations.

Requirements

Minimum

3-5 years of experience

in interior fit-out, joinery, or exhibition projects. Strong knowledge of materials, suppliers, and market pricing. Proven ability to estimate cost breakdowns and pricing accurately. Hands-on experience with

estimation software tools

. Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken). Strong negotiation skills, especially in pricing and procurement. Effective team player with solid interpersonal skills. Extensive experience in

joinery and fit-out

industries is
