- Independently create clear and organized BOQs tailored for interior and fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness. - Measure and calculate material costs independently, utilizing expertise in joinery and fit-out industry standards. - Conduct site inspections autonomously, especially at project initiation stages, to assess requirements and potential challenges. - Identify labor, material, and time needs by analyzing proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. - Autonomously prepare tender submissions and take offs, collaborating with suppliers and subcontractors as needed. - Read and interpret plans independently for effective contract administration. - Assume responsibility for providing comprehensive quantity take-offs, analyses, and estimates for joinery, wooden, and fit-out works. - Independently advise managers and clients on improvement strategies, leveraging extensive industry knowledge. - Evaluate design and constructability issues independently to determine construction feasibility. - Define cost-efficient alternatives independently for proposed project scopes. - Prepare and assemble bids and proposals for various contract types autonomously. - Determine required but non-indicated scope through independent analysis of site conditions and contract documents. - Collaborate with operations staff and estimators to ensure comprehensive estimates, including general conditions and requirement items. - Manage primary inventory work independently, including drafting space plans, site measurements, and elevations. - Independently manage all aspects of project estimation, including BOQ preparation, material cost calculation, site inspections, tender submissions, design evaluation, and contract administration. Desired Candidate Profile: - Bachelor\'s in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience. - 4-7 years of GCC market experience with joinery and fit-out companies, preferably with a minimum of 2 years in UAE. - Strong understanding of CAD software. - Knowledgeable in joinery and fit-out production and installation procedures. - Strategic planning skills with the ability to adjust priorities quickly. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. - Familiarity with raw material suppliers in the UAE. - Ability to multitask effectively based on project requirements. - Mastery in interior fitting with meticulous attention to detail.
