Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and interpreting construction drawings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, tender documentation, material take-offs, and supporting the project team in budgeting and cost control throughout all project stages.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare detailed and accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on architectural and engineering drawings. Analyze drawings, specifications, and other project documents to extract and quantify materials, labor, and other resources. Collaborate with design and project teams to clarify project scope and resolve discrepancies in documentation. Conduct site visits (as required) to verify quantities and scope alignment. Support tendering and procurement processes by providing quantity and cost data. Monitor cost variations and support in value engineering exercises. Assist in preparing interim valuations, final accounts, and cost reports. Maintain and update cost databases and records.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Or Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in quantity surveying with a focus on BOQ preparation and drawings interpretation in UAE. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost control. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quantity surveying software. Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
