Quantity Surveyor - Post Contract Cost Management - AECOM - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
AECOM is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Dubai, UAE to support post contract cost management across residential, commercial, and hospitality developments. This role focuses on assisting senior cost consultants with measurement, variations assessment, payment certifications, and cost reporting within large-scale construction projects in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Quantity Surveyors in post contract cost management activities
• Prepare measurements, assess and agree variations with contractors
• Support preparation of interim payment certificates and final account settlements
• Contribute to cost reporting, budget tracking, and financial control processes
• Ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and documentation standards
• Assist in benchmarking exercises, data collection, and internal reporting
• Support delivery of funder advisory and consultancy services
• Participate in tender analysis and preparation of tender evaluation reports
• Assist in BOQ preparation, pricing reviews, and precontract cost analysis
• Apply standard measurement codes such as NRM and POMI

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related construction field
• MRICS or working towards APC preferred
• Minimum 5 years of post graduate experience in cost consultancy
• 2 to 3 years of Middle East project experience
• Experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills
