We are currently looking for Quantity Surveyor for our Firm.

Quantity Surveyor

Scope of work: Preparation of Tenders / Quotations, Preparation of Bill of Quantities, Preparation of Estimates and Budgets, Preparation of Lump Sum Contracts, Preparation of Variation Orders, Negotiations with Material Manufactures & Suppliers (Local & International), Preparation of Material Price Comparisons, Finalizing of Material Prices & Procurement Schedule & Preparation of Material Demands.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related document. Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information. Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Maintain cost data base, floating enquiries to subcontractors and suppliers. Analyze and compare quotations received at bid stage and clarifying exclusions/qualifications within. Attend progress meetings and provide updates to the Client with projection of costs as required; Visit Site as and when required to monitor the dimensions, Preparing Payment Application / progress payment claim against Value of Work done for measured works, Variations/Change orders, Material On-Site/Off-Site, Fluctuations, Special payments in accordance with contract.

Skills Required

:

Education: Bachelor's degree in QS or equivalent

Experience: Technically oriented professional with good experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Interior Fit-out industry. Having experience in material handling, estimation and procurement will be an added advantage

Other:

Excellent abilities in MS Office especially excel Excellent communication skills Organized, self-motivated, and creative Team player with a positive attitude to go the extra mile

Salary: AED3,500.00 - 4,000.00 per month

Preferably for Philippine (Driving license would be a plus point).
