Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Quantity Surveyor & Estimator

with a background in steel and aluminium fabrication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for estimating project costs, preparing BOQs, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with the sales, design, and production teams to ensure accurate pricing and budget control.

Key Responsibilities:

Study and analyze architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and tender documents. Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for steel and aluminium works. Evaluate material, labor, and fabrication costs based on project requirements. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical data. Support the sales team by providing technical and commercial input for quotations and proposals. Assist in value engineering, cost control, and budgeting during the project lifecycle. Monitor project progress and update cost reports as required. Prepare variation orders, progress claims, and final account statements.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in quantity surveying and estimation for steel and aluminium works. Strong knowledge of structural steel, aluminium profiles, curtain wall systems, and cladding works. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software. Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills. UAE experience is highly preferred.
