ALSIRAT Contracting is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Quantity Surveyor with strong Estimation skills
to join our commercial team. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in civil construction projects, especially in residential and commercial buildings within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate
quantity take-offs
, BOQs, and cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
Analyze tender documents, specifications, and drawings.
Prepare and submit competitive and well-documented
tender submissions
.
Evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations and negotiate pricing.
Track project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
Assist in
variation claims
,
cost control
, and
final account settlements
.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams to ensure updated cost data and scope of work.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum
5 years of UAE experience
in quantity surveying and estimation.
Excellent knowledge of
AutoCAD
,
MS Excel
, and estimation software (e.g.,
Candy
,
PlanSwift
is a plus).
Strong understanding of UAE market rates, materials, and construction practices.
Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
