Job Summary
The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects, from initial estimates through to final accounts. The role ensures that projects are completed within budget while maintaining quality and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare
cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ)
Analyze drawings, specifications, and contract documents Manageproject cost control
, forecasting, and reporting Prepare and evaluatetender documents and contractor bids
Measure and value work done on site Prepareinterim payment certificates
and final accounts Managevariations, claims, and change orders
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project teams Monitor material costs, labor costs, and project expenditures Ensure compliance with contract terms (FIDIC or other forms) Providerisk analysis and value engineering
recommendations Assist in dispute resolution and commercial negotiationsQualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in
Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor (typically 3-8+ years) Strong knowledge ofconstruction contracts and cost management
Proficiency inExcel, measurement software, and cost control tools
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills Knowledge of local construction standards and regulations Experience withFIDIC contracts

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
