We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Quantity Surveyor cum Estimator

to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary

The Quantity Surveyor cum Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, project pricing, material take-offs, and tender submissions. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of the interior fit-out industry and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Costing

Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for interior fit-out and joinery projects. Review project drawings, specifications, and scope to ensure accurate pricing. Conduct quantity take-offs for materials, finishes, joinery, and MEP works (when required). Evaluate subcontractor & supplier quotations and negotiate competitive rates.

Quantity Surveying & Documentation

Prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, and material summaries. Assist in preparing tender documents and RFP submissions. Identify cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering solutions. Maintain accurate project costing records and databases.

Project Coordination

Coordinate with the design, production, and project management teams for clarifications. Support project managers with cost updates and variations. Prepare variation claims, revised quotations, and updated BOQs during the project.

Market & Supplier Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Source new vendors to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality materials.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Interior Design

, or related field. Minimum

2-5 years' UAE experience

in

interior design and fit-out

(mandatory). Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery, and market pricing. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Office

, and estimation software. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience in

commercial, residential, retail, or office fit-out projects

. Knowledge of MEP cost estimation is an added advantage.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
