1. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher national Diploma in Quantity Surveying
- Relevant experience in Project Quantity Surveying
- Job experience with minimum of 7 years
- UAE experience with minimum of 5 years

- Advanced commercial and contractual knowledge
- Can communicate WELL in English (Reading, Writing and Speaking)
- Ability to read drawings, specifications and interpretation of technical requirements
- Negotiation with Client / Factory / Other Suppliers

Task description
- Reviewing tender and IFC documents to identify scope and preparing BOQ
- Review and reconciliation of project contracts, terms and conditions, specifications, drawings and other docs
- Take off of quantities for estimation / procurement process
- Inquiring prices from factory / supplier and prepare comparison and compliance sheets
- Preparation of quotation in collaboration with respective managers
- Budget preparation and reconciliations
- Preparing variations to clients and review of variations from Vendors / Subcontractors
- Preparing / update commercial reports to reporting deadlines - cost reports, project reports, work calculations, and any other that is to be required
- Notifying commercial or contractual discrepancies / changes to Project Management
- Prepare, review and file contractual correspondences, including claims, legal affairs, etc.
- Support and look after all other Contractual / Commercial and Procurement tasks
- Perform any other commercial related tasks assigned by management or seniors from time to time
- Record keeping
