We are seeking an experienced
Quantity Surveyor (QS)
specializing in
rebar reinforcement measurements
to join our client's project team. The candidate will be responsible for accurately quantifying, costing, and verifying steel reinforcement works in accordance with project specifications and construction drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for rebar and other structural materials.
Review and interpret structural drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS).
Conduct site visits to verify actual rebar installations and reconcile with project quantities.
Prepare and review measurement sheets, progress reports, and payment applications.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure measurement accuracy.
Monitor material wastage and ensure compliance with project cost controls.
Assist in variation and claim preparation related to rebar works.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
Minimum
3-5 years of experience
in
rebar quantity take-off and measurement
within the UAE or GCC.
Strong understanding of
BBS, reinforcement detailing, and structural drawings
.
Proficiency in
AutoCAD, Excel, and quantity surveying software
.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Immediate availability is preferred.
