in the UAE construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, and project cost control throughout various stages of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and analyze
BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents
.
Evaluate
contractor and subcontractor quotations
, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
Manage
variation claims, interim valuations, and payment certifications
.
Prepare and maintain
cost reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts
.
Support
contract administration and correspondence
as per FIDIC conditions.
Coordinate with
project managers, engineers, and clients
to ensure financial control and transparency.
Review
EOT and VO submissions
with proper justification and documentation.
Participate in
value engineering exercises
and cost optimization reviews.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in
Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
.
Minimum
5-8 years of experience
in the UAE, with exposure to
both Contractor and Consultant
environments.
Strong understanding of
FIDIC Contracts
and local construction practices.
Proficient in
MS Office, Excel, AutoCAD, and CostX or similar software
.
Excellent
analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
Female candidate's only.
Preferred:
Membership or certification with
RICS / AIQS / MRICS
is an advantage.
Experience in
high-end villa and mixed-use projects
is preferred.
