We are seeking an experienced

QS

to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing drawings, and coordinating with design and estimation teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum 2

years' proven UAE experience

as a Quantity Surveyor in any fit-out company Proficiency in

AutoCAD and Excel

Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and within a team environment. Must currently be based in the

UAE

. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimating, and procurement processes. Experience with quantity surveying software, AutoCad, PlanSwift Microsoft office, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for fit-out and contracting projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are accounted for. Assess and evaluate the cost impact of design changes and variations. Prepare and manage tender documents, and perform cost analysis and comparison for tender submissions Regularly monitor project costs and provide detailed cost reports to senior management. Review project specifications to ensure correct quantities and types of materials are ordered. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors based on cost, quality, and reliability Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services Coordinate and manage the ordering of materials, ensuring that all procurement is delivered on time to avoid project delays Track orders and deliveries, addressing any issues that arise with suppliers Prepare and manage interim payment applications

High level of accuracy in cost estimation, tendering, and contract management.
