Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and manage detailed bills of quantities (BOQ) for steel fabrication projects.
Conduct cost analysis, estimate materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
Monitor project budgets, track variations, and provide cost forecasts.
Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Support tender preparation, bid analysis, and contract administration.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Maintain accurate records of all project-related financial documents.
Ensure compliance with UAE construction standards, codes, and company policies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in steel fabrication or construction projects.
Strong knowledge of steel structures, fabrication processes, and UAE construction standards.
Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
Experience in UAE steel fabrication or structural steel projects.
Familiarity with procurement, submittal processes, and quality control documentation.
