We are seeking an experienced
Quantity Surveyor with expertise in rebar/reinforcement works
to join our client's construction team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in rebar quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimation, and site coordination related to reinforcement activities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed
quantity take-offs
and BOQs for rebar/reinforcement works.
Review structural drawings and identify discrepancies or variations.
Conduct cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting for reinforcement works.
Verify subcontractor invoices and progress claims related to reinforcement.
Liaise with engineers, site teams, and procurement to ensure accurate material quantification.
Support tendering, bidding, and contract administration for rebar-related works.
Monitor site progress and provide regular cost and material usage reports.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
Minimum
5 years of experience
as a Quantity Surveyor in the UAE/Gulf region.
Strong knowledge of
rebar/reinforcement measurement, detailing, and costing
.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and relevant QS software.
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and construction standards.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
