: 1-3 years in QS in steel/tensile/fabrication industries
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
Experience:
Hands-on experience in quantity surveying preferably in structural steel and tensile projects.
Attestation: Educational certificates should be attested by MOFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
Core Skills Required:
Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and quotations.
Evaluate tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare competitive bids.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for price quotations and negotiations.
Monitor project budgets and control costs during execution.
Assist in contract preparation and variations.
Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities.
Prepare cost and material reports for management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety requirements.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
,
MS Office (Excel, Word)
, and
Quantity Surveying software
.
Knowledge of
construction drawings, BOQ preparation, and tendering process
.
Familiarity with
structural steel and fabric materials
is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
