Joseph Decorative Glass, a leading organization in innovative glass across the UAE, is looking for a talented and detail-driven Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dubai. This is an opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to high-end architectural and interior glass projects.

Role Overview:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost estimation, budget control, procurement support, and commercial management related to decorative glass projects. You'll work closely with the design, production, and installation teams to ensure precise quantity take-offs, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates based on drawings and project specifications. Evaluate tender documentation and participate in bid preparation. Monitor and manage project budgets and expenditures throughout the project lifecycle. Liaise with team, suppliers etc. to gather quotations and negotiate rates. Certify subcontractor payments and evaluate variations or change orders. Conduct site visits to verify quantities and ensure project compliance. Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to optimize cost efficiency. Maintain updated cost databases and reporting structures.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2-3 years of UAE experience, preferably in decorative glass, facade, or interior fit-out industry. Strong knowledge of quantity take-off tools, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software. Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, and production processes related to glass. Solid negotiation, analytical, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
