Job Description

Key Responsibilities of a Quantity Surveyor:

Cost Estimation and Management:

QS professionals are responsible for estimating the costs of materials, labor, and other resources needed for a project. They also monitor and manage these costs throughout the project lifecycle.

Contract Management:

Quantity surveyors prepare and manage contracts, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and protect the interests of all parties involved.

Tendering and Procurement:

They assist in the tendering process by preparing tender documents and evaluating bids from contractors.

Risk Management:

QS professionals identify and assess potential risks associated with a project's cost and schedule, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

Value Engineering:

They explore ways to optimize the project's value while staying within budget, often by finding alternative materials or construction methods.

Dispute Resolution:

In case of disputes between parties, quantity surveyors can help resolve them by providing expert advice on cost and contractual matters.

Liaison with Stakeholders:

They collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the project's success.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
