Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical

Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

to manage cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and financial control of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project budgets, analyzing material and labor costs, managing tender submissions, and ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Experience in residential and commercial developments such as villas and buildings is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

detailed cost estimates

, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and pricing documents for tender submissions. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to extract accurate quantities and scope of work. Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors; evaluate and compare prices to ensure cost-effectiveness. Monitor project costs and provide

cost planning, forecasting, and budget control

throughout the project. Evaluate variations and change orders; prepare cost breakdowns and claims for additional works. Assist in negotiating contracts, rates, and terms with contractors and vendors. Support project managers with

cash flow projections

, financial reports, and cost-to-completion evaluations. Conduct periodic site visits to validate quantities, assess work progress, and verify contractor claims. Prepare and submit

valuation reports, payment certificates, and final accounts

. Maintain up-to-date records of project cost data, material prices, and vendor information.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. 3-7 years of relevant experience in estimation and quantity surveying (residential/commercial construction preferred) in GCC. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and pricing trends. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software such as

. Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with FIDIC and local contract terms is an advantage. Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
