Guildhall is recruiting on behalf of a well-established real estate and construction development company based in Dubai. Our client has an impressive portfolio of residential and commercial projects across the region and is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects from initial estimation to final account settlement. Reporting to the Construction Project Director, this role involves cost planning, tender documentation, contract management, and site-based progress validation. You will work closely with project and commercial teams to ensure financial control and cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for construction works.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, verify completed work, and identify cost variances.
• Prepare tender documents and addenda, and assist in the procurement process.
• Evaluate and analyze tender submissions to ensure compliance and value for money.
• Review and verify contractor interim payment certificates and track approved variations.

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the UAE or GCC within a similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, cost analysis, and contract administration
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, BOQ preparation tools, and document formatting
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Open to all nationalities
