, a leading firm in Landscaping, Swimming pools, Renovations, and Fit-outs. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and site teams to manage project costs, prepare accurate BOQs, and ensure budget control throughout the project lifecycle.
Success in this role means being proactive, organized, and confident in both site-level coordination and client-facing discussions. You will be a key contributor to project efficiency, cost savings, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Prepare detailed
Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
and cost estimates based on design drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with clients for
scope discussions
, clarifications, and approval of
variations/change orders
.
Attend
site visits
to verify measurements, track progress, and ensure scope alignment.
Support project managers in
budget planning
, material take-offs, and tracking actual costs.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for
quotation comparison, negotiation
, and cost analysis.
Assist in preparing
interim and final payment applications
for both clients and subcontractors.
Maintain updated
records of costs, approvals, invoices
, and other project-related documentation.
Provide weekly cost status reports and flag any potential
cost overruns or scope deviations
.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in
Civil Engineering
or related field.
Minimum
1 year of UAE experience
in a QS or estimation role.
Proficient in
Microsoft Excel
; working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or estimation software is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written
communication skills
in English.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate with clients.
Comfortable with
regular site visits
and engaging in client discussions independently.
