We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced

Quantity Surveyor

with strong

Pre-Contract

expertise. The candidate must have a valid

driving license

and experience working in both

consultancy

and

contracting

environments. This role involves handling all commercial aspects of project tendering, cost planning, and contract preparation before project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all

Pre-Contract

commercial activities, including preparation of

tender documents

,

bill of quantities (BOQ)

,

cost estimates

, and

contract negotiation

. Assist in the development and evaluation of

tender submissions

and

contract awards

. Conduct

feasibility studies

,

value engineering

, and

risk assessments

during project planning stages. Prepare detailed

cost plans

and

budgets

for client proposals and project bids. Liaise with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary commercial information. Analyze

pricing

,

quantities

, and

contract conditions

to ensure accuracy and competitiveness. Provide expert advice on contract types, commercial risks, and procurement strategies. Maintain records of correspondence, tender clarifications, and negotiations. Support the transition from Pre-Contract to Post-Contract phases smoothly. Perform site visits as necessary, requiring valid driving license for travel.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Quantity Surveying

,

Civil Engineering

, or related discipline. Minimum

5-7 years

experience specifically in

Pre-Contract Quantity Surveying

. Experience working in both

consultancy

and

contracting

companies. Strong knowledge of standard construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC). Excellent skills in preparing

BOQs

,

tender documentation

, and

cost estimates

. Proficiency in relevant software such as

CostX

,

Candy

,

AutoCAD

, and

MS Office

. Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Valid

driving license

is

mandatory

. Willingness to travel to client offices and project sites as needed.
