About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing expert cost management and consultancy services for various construction projects across the region.
Monitor and report on project costs, including cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete estimates
Identify and mitigate potential cost risks throughout the project lifecycle
Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure best value for clients
Prepare monthly cost reports and presentations for clients and project stakeholders
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
Professional certification from a recognized institution (e.g., RICS, AACE International) an advantage
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost consultancy.
Previous experience in the Middle East region is essential.
Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
In-depth knowledge of construction industry standards, practices, and current market rates
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
