Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Quantity Surveyor (QS)

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

hiring, evaluating, and monitoring subcontractors

, and in preparing detailed

Bills of Quantities (BOQs)

. You will play a key role in ensuring project cost control, contract compliance, and efficient resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed

Bills of Quantities (BOQs)

based on drawings and specifications. Source, evaluate, and hire subcontractors for various construction and fit-out works. Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure quality, timelines, and contractual compliance. Prepare and review subcontractor agreements and scope of work. Track project budgets, identify cost variations, and recommend value engineering solutions. Issue progress claims, payment certificates, and cost reports. Coordinate closely with the project and procurement teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum

3-5 years of QS experience

in the UAE, preferably in construction and fit-out. Proven experience in

preparing BOQs

, and

subcontractor hiring and monitoring

. Strong knowledge of UAE market rates and construction materials. Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., Candy, BuildSoft, or similar). Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Fluency in English is required.
