Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in infrastructure and road construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects, ensuring cost efficiency, budget control, and contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:Cost Management & Estimation:

Prepare cost estimates and budgets for road and infrastructure projects including earthworks, drainage, utilities, asphalt works, and road pavements. Track project costs and monitor cost variations to ensure alignment with project budgets. Assist in cost planning, value engineering, and risk assessment.

Tendering & Procurement:

Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documents for subcontractors and suppliers. Review and evaluate contractor quotations to ensure compliance with project specifications and budgets. Assist in procurement processes for materials and services.

Contract Management:

Administer contracts and subcontracts, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date. Monitor contractual obligations and advise on contractual rights and responsibilities. Prepare and evaluate variations, claims, and extensions of time.

Measurement & Valuation:

Conduct on-site measurements and valuations of work done to ensure accurate billing. Prepare interim and final payment applications for clients and subcontractors. Reconcile quantities and costs with project progress and milestones.

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for internal and client reporting. Maintain proper documentation of all QS activities including measurements, variations, and communications. Support audits and final account settlements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in infrastructure and road construction projects. Strong knowledge of local and international standards (e.g., RTA,) Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software (e.g., Candy, CostX). Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Familiar with FIDIC and other standard contract forms.

Preferred:

Experience with RTA (Dubai) or similar authority projects. UAE Driving License is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
